Ibbie Gold Nigeria Limited would like to create a social impact on subsistence farmers living in the rural communities. We want to start a revolution for organic farming, which led to the creation of Operation 10,000 hectares.
The aim of this project is to put a stop to subsistence farming, using organic and mechanized farming methods as a partner firm, “Ibbie Gold Nigeria Limited “ will provide agricultural machinery and and organic fertilizers to each cluster of farmers. Each farmer is to plant on at least a ten hectare portion of land, using the materials provided by the partner firm, thus increasing productivity and yield. Ibbie Gold Nigeria Limited will provide access to markets, thus reducing poverty, increasing incomes and livelihoods of the farmers.
Farmers will be trained on the use of organic mechanized farming, and will be divided into clusters to form cooperatives, having a membership of fifteen to twenty five people. Our target is to reach two thousand farmers.
Ibbie Gold Nigeria Limited at present is in negotiations with the Raw Materials Research and Development Council, Ministry of Science and Technology, Community and Social Development for the trainings of farmers.
The company will also enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the cooperatives, providing the needed agricultural machinery and organic fertilizers to make the project a success.
Each farmer will have an interface with their agreed partner using a mobile application called “farmers connect “ This mobile application is to connects a cluster of farmers to access tractors for bush clearing, seeding and cultivation, weeding, watering and harvest. It also provides access to the number of fertilizers needed for use in the farms, along with the number of bags harvested, prevailing market prices and sales. In return, access to markets will be provided for sales of farm produce.

Gemstone mining has boomed in various parts of Plateau, Bauchi, and Kaduna states. Factors affecting gemstone development in Nigeria includes lack of capital,markets, technology and entrepreneurs. There is a need to train entrepreneurs to take advantage of this opportunity, trainings should be conducted on gemstone identification and mining, cutting and polishing, certification as well as access to markets.
Gemstones can command premium prices in both local and international markets only when they are carefully cut, shaped and polished. A Nigerian rubelite Tourmaline can be sold for $1,000 per carat depending on color, size, cut and clarity. That is to say, if one kilogram was sold which is an equivalent of 5,000 carats, a sale of five million dollars has been made.
